After.../Artist Unknown
My work is influenced by both photographers and other visual artists, especially modernist and abstract painters. So the images here are in debt to the likes of Chris Killip and Victor Pasmore, both of whom worked in the north east of England. I also love making pictures of 'accidental' artworks: not conventional found objects, but rather man made compositions that have a clear - if unintended - aesthetic element. All I have to do is piece the clues together, and honour the unseen hand.
